- When we first meet, either during an initial consultation, or during our first session, we will discuss your expectations and needs. We will look at the areas which you want to improve and talk about possible changes to re-organise your space. I will ask you questions to determine your needs and to find out what expectations you have, and what outcome you want to achieve by working with me.
- After we have agreed on the changes that we are going to make we will start working together. We will be working together at all stages of this project and nothing will happen that you don’t want. I will always be by your side to help you with any decisions. My goal as a Professional Organiser is to help you decide which items are useful and necessary, and which items are simply adding to the clutter and confusion of your space. I will then help you to create a functional and systematic way to keep and find your items when you need them.
- At the end of our session I will bring out the garbage and recycling that we accumulated during the session. As an added bonus, I can also drop off soft items like clothes or linen to a St. Vincent the Paul collection point. This will leave you with a clean space once our session is finished. Sometimes I might leave you with a to-do-list. This might include tasks like “ask auntie if she wants the old photograph of your grandma” or “ask husband which of his DVDs he would like to keep”. By not taking care of little things like these during our session we save time that we can use for organising your space.
